The 55th St. public boat launch is 2-3 mins. away. Don't worry about where to store your boat or trailer, there is room to park them in the driveway.
Appreciate a day in Historic Southport, take the ferry to Fort Fisher and visit the North Carolina Aquarium, or discover the USS Battleship North Carolina about 45 mins. away in Wilmington. Myrtle Beach attractions are only about an hour away.

Please note that the rental is for the 2nd floor only. The owner’s floor and rental floor have separate entrances and are not connected. The owner does not reside in Oak Island full time, but the 3rd floor may be occupied occasionally.
About the Area
Located on the waterfront, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Smith Island Museum of History and Franklin Square Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Magic Mountain Fun Park are also worth visiting. Motor boating, surfing/body boarding, and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.
