This comfortable and cozy home offers all that and more! Located in the peaceful and calming surroundings of the Oak Island wooded area, known for it's twisty oak trees that give the island it's name, you can soon find yourself calming on the covered front porch or back sun deck as the kiddos and/or dogs play in the enormous, fenced-in backyard. Appreciate the sounds of nature as you grille out your fresh catch from a relaxing day of fishing on the sandy shores or out on your boat.

The Municipal Boat Ramp is only a few 100 yards away at the end of the street to launch your boat onto the Intracoastal Waterway for a fun-filled day out on the water. Or if the beach is calling you to dig your toes into the sand, it is only 4 blocks away as well. If you feel like a little more action, there is so much to do and see in Oak Island and surrounding towns. Everything you need and want is only about a 5 min. drive or less away, from necessities to fun. So, if you've had enough of the craziness of every day life and need a little rejuvenation and refreshment, make HALL'S HAVEN your favorite beach spot. Our top Carolina Beach rental booking tips and tricks:

Sticking to a rental budget:

  • Summer months are high season in the Carolina Beach area. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guides have discounts for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Planning and picking your prefect Carolina Beach rental home:

  • Choose your vacation week and maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Halls Haven - Sit back, relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature and the beach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the property manager before you book the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to establish what configuration is optimal for your family.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you will need a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts charge additional pet fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • To make certain damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas upon check in. Speak to the host right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental while you're out. Keep your property safe!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to stimulate future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
