This comfortable and cozy home offers all that and more! Located in the peaceful and relaxing surroundings of the Oak Island wooded area, known for it's twisty oak trees that give the island it's name, you can soon find yourself calming on the covered front porch or back sun deck as the kiddos and/or dogs play in the sizable, fenced-in backyard. Appreciate the sounds of nature as you grille out your fresh catch from a relaxing day of fishing on the sandy shores or out on your boat.

The Municipal Boat Ramp is only a few 100 yards away at the end of the street to launch your boat onto the Intracoastal Waterway for a fun-filled day out on the water. Or if the beach is calling you to dig your toes into the sand, it is only 4 blocks away as well. If you feel like a little more action, there is so much to do and see in Oak Island and surrounding towns. Everything you need and want is only about a 5 min. drive or less away, from necessities to fun. So, if you've had enough of the craziness of every day life and need a little rejuvenation and refreshment, make HALL'S HAVEN your favorite beach spot. Finding the best vacation rental experience:

When to visit & When to book:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides have money saving offers on nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Filter your search:

  • Start by choosing a vacation week and a budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration you need. Halls Haven - Sit back, relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature and the beach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the host before reserving the vacation property. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is suitable for your trip.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but others don't. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • If there's a specific Carolina Beach attraction you love, look for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental

Know before you go:

  • Add the owner's contact information to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect your property!
  • Document any damages to the property during check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if damages are assessed.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a great vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
