Located in Winter Park, a neighborhood in Wilmington, this cottage is near theme parks and on a river. Cameron Art Museum and Cape Fear Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park and Stanley Rehder Carnivorous Plant Garden. New Hanover County Arboretum and Carolina Heights are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to book & When to go:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Carolina Beach area. To get the best value, try shifting your trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons.
