Our home sits on a corner lot with gorgeous landscaping and trees for some privacy. There are sidewalks palm trees and lighting that line the streets of the community. We are a 1 min. golf cart drive to the beach (We recommend renting one for a fun stay as these carts are street legal and a fun way to cruise to the boardwalk, eateries and shopping.) The public beach access is a short walk away. Vacation rental booking tips:

When to go & When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental home:

  • Summer months are high season in Carolina Beach. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Carolina Beach trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer great weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have offers and deals for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

How to pick the best vacation home in Carolina Beach:

  • Choose a group leader, select your vacation week, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Britt’s barefeet beach retreat is your next vacation rental has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible online. If they are not listed, call the property owner before you book your home. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • If there's a specific Carolina Beach destination you love, browse homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or costs may be applied to your agreement.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your smartphone.
  • Document any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many concerns.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an excellent source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a great time? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
