  • 3 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 1100 square feet

Unwind in this comfortable, light-filled 2nd row 3 Bedrooms/2 Bath home, across from the beach access on Oak Island's desired West Beach.

Appreciate long days swimming, shell hunting, watching the sunset, fishing, boating, strolling the beach, sunbathing, or calming on the deck with a good book.

The open-concept floor plan sleeps 7 and has ceiling fans, huge windows, a sky-blue ceiling, and casual decor that creates a comfortable space to rest, reconnect and reenergize.

The space
The living space includes seating for nine, a huge intelligent TV with streaming services, a cabinet filled with games, and whole-home high-speed internet with wifi.

The kitchen-dining area has full-sized appliances, a table with six chairs, and extras like an air fryer, electric pressure cooker, crock pot, and enormous pots for a low country boil. You'll have everything you need to make your favorite meals.

There's a washing machine and dryer, a bathroom with shower, and three bedrooms off the hall.

The bedrooms are light and airy, featuring ceiling fans, sizable windows with blinds and sheers, intelligent TVs with streaming services, dressers, bed covers, summer weight feather/down comforters, and led lighting. You'll find additional quilts and blankets, fans, board games, puzzles, wetsuits, cornhole boards, and beach gear in the closets.

• BR 1-Full XL & Twin XL beds with ensuite bathroom
• BR 2-Full bed.
• BR 3-Queen bed.

There are two levels of outdoor spaces. The downstairs area includes an enclosed hot/cold water outdoor shower, water hose, fish cleaning station, and room to play outdoor games, skate, grille, or hang out. There are kayaks, paddle boards, beach chairs, and ample parking.

Upstairs, there's a large deck with ample seating and peekaboo vistas of the ocean, and spectacular sky vistas at nighttime. It's the ideal place to listen to the ocean, watch the pelicans fly in formation, star gaze, read, or simply relax.

There are stairs on either side of the home, one with an painless incline and a landing halfway up—the other with an electric stair lift available for people with mobility issues familiar with operating the lift. Since there is no repair person on the island, the lift is not guaranteed.

The bungalow is convenient to the Ocean Crest Pier, The Point, Beach Pantry, grocery stores, gyms, boat launches, stores, dining, Oak Island Golf Course, putt-putt and arcade, sky diving, helicopter rides, Oak Island Lighthouse, and Oak Island's recreation areas.

And, if you need a break from the white sand and pristine water, the bungalow is a short 10-15 min. drive to Historic Southport and ferry rides to NC Aquarium, Civil War Museum in Kure Beach, and Bald Head Island. The central location makes it ideal for day trips to Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, and surrounding coastal attractions.

2 miles to Oceancrest Pier
2 miles to The Point
3 miles to Oak Island Recreation Center (Gym)
14 miles to Southport
35 miles to Wilmington
62 miles to Myrtle Beach

It's the ideal home to make lifetime memories at the beach.

Finding the best Oak Island rental home experience:

Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in Oak Island. To get the best value, consider shifting your family's Carolina Beach trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides contain deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Finding the best vacation rental in Oak Island:

  • Choose a group leader, select your dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. *Beach House!!*Views!!*Steps to Ocean!*Amenities! has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available on booking pages. Otherwise, email or call the property manager before reserving your home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine what is suitable for your group.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or may be applied to your contract.
  • Are you looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Add the owner's contact information to your phone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few problems.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
  • To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas upon check in. message the host immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your life at home. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a great stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
