This is a classic beach bungalow with knotty pine tongue-and-groove interior siding. It has been equipped to include everything you will need to savor a long and fun-filled vacation at the beach. The oceanfront screened porch is a great place to relax out of the sun and appreciate the cool ocean breezes. Or you can enjoy the same breezes on the sun deck while getting a tan. This family beach is seldom busy and the strand is less than 100 feet from the sun deck. You will never need to lug around your chairs or sand toys to enjoy them on the beach. Conveniences include living, dining, and kitchen areas, plus central H/A, five ceiling fans, a microwave, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, a cable TV, a stereo, high-speed WiFi, a screened porch, a sundeck, rockers, and a boardwalk to the beach.

THINGS TO KNOW

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Carolina Beach area. To find the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guides have coupons for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
