Sea Pointe, a privately owned single family oceanfront home, located on the West end of the island. It is pet friendly & has a beach access located on the left side of the home. Weddings are allowed for an additional fee of $300. There is also a 1 bedroom 1 bath efficiency apt located below the home. Interior amenities include coffee maker, central heat & air, ceiling fans, 3 color cable TVs, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave & WIFI. Outside amenities include sundeck, outside shower (no enclosure) & covered breezeway. This is stringently a ***NON SMOKING*** home and accepts up to 2 dogs for an additional FEE. HOME IS NOT EQUIPPED FOR ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING. Nightly units require a departure maid service.

About the Area

Located in Sunset Beach, this vacation home is by the ocean. Sunset River Marketplace and Museum of Coastal Carolina are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Cherry Grove Pier and Rees Jones Golf Course. Ingram Planetarium and Tribal Island are also worth visiting.

You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Carolina Beach restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a great time? Most rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
